Support for Research

EFCNY is not a research institution, but our methodology is based on the research, writing, and thinking of scientists and thought leaders in the EF community, especially Prof. Diamond. We have admiration and gratitude for their leadership and work, without which we could not do ours. To show our appreciation, we make a yearly donation to the nonprofit American Foundation for The University of British Columbia, earmarked to support the research of EFCNY Founding Advisor Adele Diamond. Dr. Diamond is neither an employee nor paid consultant for EFCNY. EFCNY is solely responsible for the services it provides.

If you would like to learn more about Dr. Diamond’s research, she can be contacted directly. If you would like to donate directly to her research, you may do so through the American Foundation for the University of British Columbia. Please specify that your donation is for “Adele Diamond’s Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab in the Dept. of Psychiatry.”

The American Foundation for The University of British Columbia is a registered charity under US law (IRS #52-1559117). A letter of acknowledgment will be issued to American donors by the Foundation for the gift in US dollars. Please make your gift payable by cheque (from a US bank only) to The American Foundation for The University of British Columbia. Please note donations by credit card are not accepted.
